Good food and wine are an integral part of life in France and one of the main reasons David and Lesley chose to live here!

Lesley is an accomplished cook who uses home grown produce from the kitchen garden and excellent ingredients from local farms and markets. We offer our guests hosted evening meals on 3 or 4 evenings each week. There is a choice between a restaurant style 4 course dinner and a brasserie style 3 course supper.
Dinners are served on English china, with fine glassware and damask napkins. The quality of the food and its presentation are what you would expect to find in a very good quality restaurant. Vegetarians are very welcome.

What makes our evening meals different is that we eat with our guests and have enjoyed many convivial evenings in their company.
It’s an ideal setting to relax, share experiences and find out a little more about Normandy.

Included in the price of your accommodation is a Gourmet Continental Breakfast. It will be one of the highlights of your stay at Chateau La Cour. First, enjoy a delicious medley of fresh fruit. Then tuck into a choice of freshly baked pastries and baguette with quality Normandy butter and jams made with fruit from the kitchen garden. Perhaps try the lovely fresh eggs from our own chickens and slices of local Normandy ham. A choice of yoghurts and cereals are also available as well as tea, coffee and freshly squeezed orange juice. In September and October we use the apples from our orchard to make fresh apple juice for our guests.
