  • An excellent base for outdoor activities, walking, golf or visiting the many chateaux and gardens in the area.
Chateau La Cour is situated in the picturesque Suisse Normande, an area of peaceful rolling hills and attractive wooded
valleys, where cattle graze in apple orchards that have changed little over the years. The house has been lovingly restored and is now tastefully furnished with an eclectic selection of the old and new. The entrance hall features an imposing stone staircase, constructed from the same Caen stone as shipped in the 11th century for the construction of Westminster Abbey
The elegant sitting room, also available for pre dinner drinks, is ideal to sit and relax.

In the stunningly decorated dining room you’ll find a traditional tiled floor complemented by hand painted panelling and sophisticated drapes.

The large family kitchen has a Caen stone floor and fireplace for comforting log fires – a perfect setting for informal suppers in the winter months.

The spacious, elegant bedrooms offer superb en suite facilities with many indulgent touches, Roger & Gallet toiletries and soft fluffy Egyptian cotton towels.
